- * The Wind: Velocity & Direction, Tactics & Strategy.
- * The Course: Starting, Upwind, Downwind, Finishing, Buoys, Rules, Right-of-Way, Hypothermia.
- * The Committee Boat: Who runs the race and what do they do?
- * The Collision: Who is responsible and who pays for what?
- * The After-Party: Use of exaggeration, excuses, and hand gestures.
