Greece Trip

September 26 to October 3, 2009

 

Seven days of sailing plus the opportunity to sail additional time by private contract.  Sail in the Saronic and Argolic Gulfs near Athens. There are many opportunities for land touring before or after the week of sailing by your own arrangement,

Sail on a 49 foot sloop crewed by an English couple based in Greece or a bareboat 44 foot sloop with NLSC Skipper Kees Hengeveld and Co-Skipper Don McGrath.

Both boat provisioned for breakfast and lunch.  Dinners at your own expense either in one of the economical tavernas on shore or by arrangement on one of the boats.

          Airfare cost from $600 to $1200 round trip.

 

Trip Costs

Total cost for the sailing week are $590 per person payable in these increments:

                    $150 deposit originally due April 1, 2009

                    $240 to secure boats due June 1, 2009

                    $200 for”kitty” to pay for food, docking, fuel, etc.

                             due upon boarding in Greece payable in Euros.

 

In addition a check for $170 from each person made out to NSLC will be held in case there are any damage charges to the boat.  We expect no charges but if there are charges against the security deposit. They will be prorated to each persons check.
