Shorewood Yacht Club for Launch, Captain’s Meetings & Crew
Gathering
SYC is 20 miles west from downtown Minneapolis on Gideon’s Bay on
Lake Minnetonka at 600 West Lake Street, Shorewood, MN 55331, 952-474-0600
Directions: From I-494 & Highway 7, take Highway 7 West to County
Road 19. Turn north onto CR 19. SYC is about 1 mile north, turn right onto
their drive.
Participant Cost
$35 for sailing both Saturday and Sunday. The fee includes Saturday
Night Dinner and Sunday morning Continental Breakfast.
Full Payment due by April 15th. Make out check to NLSC
and send to Jeff Tam, 6200 Cascade Pass, Chanhassen, MN 55317. No Refunds after
April 15.
Schedule
Morning Sails: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM Afternoon
Sails: 2:00 - 5:30 PM
Meals
Bring a sack lunch and beverages for lunch to eat on board while
sailing.
The meals provided will be a Saturday night dinner beginning at 6
PM at SYC.
Entrees, side dishes, desserts and soft drinks provided by the
club committee.
A Sunday morning continental breakfast will be served from 9 - 10
AM at SYC.
Participants
are responsible for their own lodging arrangements. Most of the participants
will commute. Skippers with transient slips can stay on their boats.
