THE ROCKBOUND COAST OF MAINE - NLSC-sponsored sailing trip
Northern Lights Sailing Club invites you to join us on a cruise of the DOWNEAST COAST OF MAINE. Our sailing area will be mid-Maine: Penobscot Bay, Stonington, Burnt Coast Harbor, Isles Ford, Little Cranberry Island, Somes Sound (the only fiord on east coast), Northeast Harbor, Desert Island, Acadia National Park, Vinelhaven, Hurricane Island (the Outward Bound School is located here), Pulpit Harbor, and Cabot Cove.
We will be leaving from Rockland, Maine, a jewel of Penobscot Bay. This beautiful harbor is home to a large fleet of picturesque Windjammers and cruising boats of every kind. The steeples of the small New England town are white against the green hills. There are excellent marine facilities, and good restaurants and shopping areas within walking distance.
We are taking three boats: a 43' Pearson, a 44' Bowman Covsair, and a 44' Beneteau.
We have room for 18 people.

WHEN: Board Sailboats in Rockland, Maine.
Friday, June 20, 2008 will be a travel day with courtesy boarding at 5:00 p.m.
We will provision, check out the boats, and leave the harbor at noon on the 21st.
Return to Rockland on Saturday, June 28 that noon.
COST: $ 825.00 (For Boat pump out, fuel and 4 nights of docking and
3 nights at mooring balls.) Transportation costs to and from Maine are on your own.
Food to be decided by each crew.
Payment schedule: $ 225 deposit, $ 300 March 1, and $ 300 April 1.
