You don't need to own a boat.

Membership Fee:  $30.00 

Membership Year:  Jan 1 – Dec. 31
New members who join on September 1 or after, receive a membership for the remainder of that year, as well as the following year. 

Complete these three steps to become a member:
1. Download, complete, and sign the Member Information form and Mutual Release of Liability and Indemnification.

2. Email scanned copies to nlscmemberships@gmail.com or mail them to: Northern Lights Sailing Club, P. O. Box 27404, Golden Valley, MN 55427

3. Pay online via the link below, or mail a check with your forms.

The Northern Lights Sailing Club offers opportunities to sail together, to learn, and to take part in group charters. Many trips involve several boats traveling together, and may involve both private and chartered boats.

On shore we get together monthly for informal education, presentations, and sailing discussions.  In addition, the club serves as a social avenue for members to meet other like-minded sailors.

Our members are mainly in the Minneapolis – St. Paul metro area, but we have members from all over who are interested in our trips.
