Key Largo - Key Lime Sailing Club and Cottages, 1 Cottage still available
Dates: February 9 - 16, 2026 (possible to book for only five days)
Cottages include a 22’ Catalina for day-sailing. A 25’ sailboat can be chartered for
as long as 24 hours (one overnight). After passing a safety test and providing a
National Park pass, you may be able to sail into the Everglades National Park.
Also included at the resort are kayaks, a small catamaran, and other water toys.
Each cottage has a different layout. The (high-season) price for each cottage
includes 2 people. It’s $75/night for each additional person in a cottage. Everyone
is responsible for arranging rental of their own cottage.
When not sailing, John Schlagel and/or Marilynn Kaplan may be able to guide you to areas of interest near Key Largo such as: Windley Key Fossil Reef State Park, opportunities to learn about the historic Flagler Railroad, the History of Diving Museum, Wild Bird Sanctuary, John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, Dangy Johnson Key Largo Hammock Botanical State Park, Bahia Honda State Park (beautiful beach), shopping, fishing, eating. There is no pool at the resort, but there is a lovely waterpark/pool about 5 minutes away ($12).
