Ahoy Sailors.

To give you an idea, here are trips planned for 2025 and 2026. Many are full by now, or in the past, there are still a few openings. If those don't work for you (or even if they do), keep an eye out for the trip planning meeting in November to get in on the next batch.

Here are the trips and dates. You'll see that we've adopted the broader meaning of “sailing.”

• May 31, 2025 Event: 2 hr sailing on Bde Maka Ska Date: Saturday May 31st; 3PM-5PM

• June 13-20, 2025: Trent-Severn Canal Waterway outside of Toronto Canada

• July 18-20, 2025: Apostle Islands Day Sails (Bayfield)

• July 21 -24, 2025: Apostle Islands Mid-Week Trip

• Sept 1 - ?, 2025: Desolation Sound

• Sept 18-25, 2025: Chesapeake Bay Maryland

• January 10-17, 2026: MSC World America Cruise Ship: Miami - Dominican Republic - Puerto Rico - Bahamas.

MSC World America Cruise January 2026

• Stops include: Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; San Juan, Puerto Rico: and

• Ocean Cay (All-inclusive MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas).

• Beverly, our cruise coordinator, will be setting up optional tours for her/our group.

• All reservations should be made through Beverly: (386) 575-3595● $933 per person for an inside stateroom.

• ● Infinite Ocean View (window opens) starts at $1183/person (very few left)

• ● Balcony staterooms on decks 10-12 are $1323/person

• ● Balcony staterooms on decks higher than 12 are $1333/person

• All prices are based on double occupancy and include all taxes and fees. Gratuities are

• $12/person for all staterooms.

• Easy Plus Beverage Package and WiFi are included.

Key Largo - Key Lime Sailing Club and Cottages

• Dates: February 9 - 16, 2026 (possible to book for only five days)

• Cottages include a 22’ Catalina for day-sailing. A 25’ sailboat can be chartered for

• as long as 24 hours (one overnight). After passing a safety test and providing a

• National Park pass, you may be able to sail into the Everglades National Park.

• Also included at the resort are kayaks, a small catamaran, and other water toys.

• Each cottage has a different layout. The (high-season) price for each cottage

• includes 2 people. It’s $75/night for each additional person in a cottage. Everyone

• is responsible for arranging rental of their own cottage.

• When not sailing, John Schlagel and/or Marilynn Kaplan may be able to guide you to areas of interest near Key Largo such as: Windley Key Fossil Reef State Park, opportunities to learn about the historic Flagler Railroad, the History of Diving Museum, Wild Bird Sanctuary, John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, Dangy Johnson Key Largo Hammock Botanical State Park, Bahia Honda State Park (beautiful beach), shopping, fishing, eating. There is no pool at the resort, but there is a lovely waterpark/pool about 5 minutes away ($12).

• FYI, real sand beaches are rare in the Keys.
